Many people in Ukraine live under the poverty line. There are few to love and minister to them in their hopelessness and despair. Many families may seem to be healthy from external appearance but in reality they are suffering.Poverty is not the only reason, they lack the love of God in their lives. This godlessness destroys families as people resort to alcohol and drugs for short term relief. 
Teenage pregnancy is a further problem since girls will sometimes abandon their newborn children. 'Love to the People' seeks to be the loving hands of God, taking care of these children. We know that Jesus gave His life for every person, including those whose life is a nightmare. We take physical relief and the message that only through faith in Jesus Christ can Ukraine revive; only through kneeling before God, can Ukraine's struggling people rise from their knees.
