Our plans

To provide greater assistance for children on the streets, the department plans to open a crisis center. This new ministry will be called The Spring of Life. It will offer a place where children may be able to receive clean clothes, a hot lunch, counseling and the possibility of spending the night in a clean, warm, safe bed.

The Center will provide legal advice; hold training programs, providing vocational training in an auto-repair shop and welding shops as well as the arranging of trips and hikes. At this center, as with all of the aspects of our ministry, great attention will be given to the spiritual condition of children who visit.

There are scores of success stories. Over the years many young people have indeed had their lives changed by the power of Jesus Christ whom they met in the course of their interaction with our total ministry. Today, these young people are beginning productive lives. Some are working regular jobs, some in university and others are married and raising their own children in the nurture and love of the Lord. This began with their introduction to Christ through the street ministry department.
