On April 23 – 25 for the first time in Ukraine “Strengthening the families” conference for adoptive and foster parents will take place.

The biggest push for organizers of this conference has become a desire to thank parents for their hearts open to orphan kids, and the desire to support and inspire them in it.
Around hundred couples from all over Ukraine, registered for participation at the conference. The program of the conference is planned in a way that parents could receive the most actual knowledge and practical experience to up bring their foster and adoptive children and to build harmonic relations in their families.

The speakers of the seminars will be experiences psychologists, leaders of governmental and charity organizations from Ukraine, USA, Canada, who are actual foster-parents to their children themselves – Steve and Christi Weber, Lynn and Ruby Johnston , Terry Musen, Nikolai Kyleba, David and Jane Scooler, Oleg and Raya Shelashskays, Ryslan Malyuta, Peter and Tamara Dydnik, Marina Pet’kovskaya.

The themes of the three-day conference will be “Influence of adoption on biological children” “How does neglect influences development of child”, “How to deal with bed behavior”, “How to prevent dis-adoption”, “How to bring healing into broken child’s heart” and others.
Organizers of the conference are charity and public organizations, dealing with children’s right’s protection: “Otchiy Dim” ICF, “Odna Nadezhda” ICF, “Emmanuel” Association of Mercy, “International Centre of Leadership and Development”, the partner of the conference is Radisson Hotels.
